Carousel is a short, easy mountain biking loop on Bureau of Land Management land in the Moab Field Office, about a mile from Moab, Utah. The route is a loop of roughly a mile, with a total climb of about 36 feet from a low point of 4,373 feet to a high of 4,427 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July averages about 96°F. The Carousel Trail and Roller Coaster Trail are both about 0.1 mile away, and the Roller Coaster mountain biking route is also close by. Arches National Park is about 3.4 miles off.
