The Pass Road is a 24.8-mile out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Cedar City Field Office of Utah, with a high point of 7,427 feet and a low of 4,961 feet. The route is rated hard, and the one-way climb gains 2,486 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 75°F in June to 80°F in July, and snow is common from November through April. Several other destinations sit within a short drive. Adt - Utah - R - Seg 6 is about 1.7 miles away, and Rock Corral Day Use Area and the Mineral Mountains climbing area are both within about 5 miles. Hanging Rock Campground, about 6.4 miles off, is the closest place to camp.
