Stump Hollow Trail is a hard hike in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The route is an out-and-back of about 10 miles with a total elevation gain of roughly 1,490 feet, rising from a low point of about 6,940 feet to a high of about 8,380 feet. The trail is a long, steady climb. At 5 miles one way, it's a full day's work on foot. For a base camp, Sunrise Campground and Lewis M. Turner Campground both lie within about 3 miles. Turkey Trail and Peter Sinks Road are both about 1.2 miles away and make good options for a shorter outing before or after the longer climb.
