Steam Mill is a hard hike on the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah, about 8.6 miles long with roughly 1,693 feet of elevation gain. It is a natural-surface out-and-back trail that rises from about 7,800 feet to about 9,500 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. Bikes and horses are both allowed, and the trail is not accessible. Plan for a challenging route that climbs steeply over the course of the trip. White Pine Canyon and Peterson Hollow are both within about 1.6 miles, and Tony Grove Lake Campground and Lewis M. Turner Campground sit about 3.6 miles away.
