Sow Hole is a 3.3-mile out-and-back hike on the Forest Service's natural-surface trail in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. The route rises about 935 feet from a low point of 5,532 feet to a high of 6,479 feet, and it is rated moderate. The trail is open from June 1 to November 15. Summer is the most comfortable stretch, with typical July highs around 81°F and lows near 51°F at a nearby weather station in Laketown. Winter brings regular snow days, with January highs around 30°F and lows near 14°F. The trail is not accessible. Bikes and horses are allowed. Pig Hole and Hog Hole both sit about 0.3 miles away. Hardware Wall, a climbing area, is half a mile off, and Spring Campground is about a mile away.
