Skyline South Trail is an expert-level out-and-back hike in the Ogden Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 19 miles long, with a one-way climb of roughly 2,800 feet from a low point of about 4,940 feet to a high of about 7,710 feet. The trail starts right next to North Ogden Trailhead Road, about a tenth of a mile away, and North Ogden Canyon lies about half a mile off. Climbers can find the North Ogden climbing area about 3.5 miles away, and the Ogden River offers paddling about 5.4 miles from the trail.
