Pine Canyon Trail is an 11-mile out-and-back hike in Utah's Dixie National Forest, within the Pine Valley Ranger District. The route rises about 860 feet from a low point of 5,756 feet to a high of 6,539 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. Bikes are allowed, and the trail surface is natural. The hike is rated hard, so plan for a long day with a steady climb. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Enterprise weather station show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 67°F, while July averages near 90°F. The trail opens year-round. Within a few miles are Colie Flat Road and South Boundary Trail, about 1.6 miles away, and Enterprise Reservoir, about 4.4 miles away. Honeycomb Rocks Campground, about 4.9 miles out, offers a place to stay overnight.
