Otter Creek is a 6.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Fremont River Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah. The trail rises from a low point of 7,217 feet to a high of 8,723 feet, a climb of 1,535 feet one way, and it is rated hard. The route is on natural surface and bikes are allowed, according to the USDA Forest Service's trail records. It is open year-round, and the nearest town is Salina, about 30 miles away. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Salina show July highs around 80°F with lows near 53°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Otter Canyon lies less than a mile away, and Daniels Canyon is about 1.7 miles off. For an overnight base, Mackinaw Campground is roughly 6 miles from the trail. Climbers can find Mytoge Mtn. Road about 7.5 miles away.
