Middle Fork East Fork is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 1.5 miles in the Ogden Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah. The trail rises about 166 feet from a low point of 6,316 feet to a high of 6,485 feet, and it is managed by the Forest Service. The route is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Huntsville Monastery show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 79°F, while July and August average about 90°F. That station sits roughly 1,300 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the route run cooler. The trail is open from July 1 through October 31. Brown's Hole Trail lies about a mile away, and the Middle Fork Ogden River is about 1.3 miles off. Perception Park Family Campground and Willows Campground are both about 4.8 miles away.
