Josephite Pt. Trail is a hard hike in the Ferron Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The route is 12.6 miles long and rises 983 feet from the low point at 8,566 feet to the high point at 8,985 feet. It is an out-and-back trail on natural surface, and horses are allowed. Bikes are not. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Electric Lake weather station, about 23 miles away and 605 feet lower, put July highs around 74°F with lows near 41°F, and June through August see the fewest wet days of the year. South Thistle Flat lies about half a mile away, and Seely Creek Guard Station and Big Bear Creek Trail are within about 3 miles. For an overnight base, Orange Olsen campground is about 4.8 miles off.
