Holman Canyon is an easy hike of about 1.25 miles in the Sanpete Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a total climb of about 535 feet, from a low point of roughly 7,356 feet to a high of about 7,906 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Electric Lake weather station show July highs around 74°F with lows near 41°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-20s. The trail is on natural surface and allows both horses and bikes. Holman Canyon Trail lies about 0.6 miles away, and Schoolhouse Rock, a climbing area, is about 0.9 miles off. Left Fork Fourmile Creek Ridge and North Flat Cutoff are both within about 2 miles.
