Hickerson Park is a hard hike in Utah's Ashley National Forest, within the Flaming Gorge Ranger District. The trail is an out-and-back of about 8 miles, with a total elevation gain of about 1,520 feet. The route climbs from a low point of about 9,025 feet to a high point of about 10,552 feet. Bikes and horses are both allowed on the trail, and the surface is natural. The Forest Service manages the land, and the hike is open year-round. For those planning a trip, North Fork Sheep Creek and the North Fork Cutoff Trail lie close by.
