Heber Valley Overlook Trail is an easy, short hike in Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah, about half a mile from the park's trail network. It is a short out-and-back that rises about 45 feet from 5,943 feet to 6,005 feet, and the whole route is under a mile long. The most comfortable times to go are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 66°F in May to about 75°F in September, with July the warmest month at 88°F. Winters there are cold, with January highs around 36°F. Golpher Flats and Aqueduct are both about 0.3 miles away. Rock Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2 miles off. Jordanelle State Park McHenry Campground, roughly 5 miles away, is the closest campground.
