Brimstone Gulch Trail is an easy out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land within the Kanab Field Office in Utah. The route is about 2.1 miles long, and it rises roughly 90 feet from the low point at 4,594 feet to the high point at 4,688 feet. The trail is short and gentle, making it a quick outing for a day spent exploring the surrounding canyon country. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bullfrog Basin show October highs around 73°F with lows near 46°F, and April is similar at about 72°F by day and 44°F at night. The station sits several hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the hike run a little cooler. Several other trails lie close by. Spooky Slot Canyon and the Lower Dry Fork Trail are each about 0.9 miles away, and the Dry Fork Narrows Trail and Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon are each about 1.2 miles off.
