Bountiful Overlook is an easy, short out-and-back hike of about 1.2 miles on the Forest Service trail in the Ogden Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah. The route rises about 257 feet from a low point of 8,313 feet to a high point of 8,592 feet, with the trail surface natural and the trip typically open from about May 15 to November 1. The trail is open to bikes and horses, and it is not accessible. For the most comfortable conditions, aim for late spring through early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 61°F in May to 82°F in July, with July and August the warmest stretch and September the mildest of the summer months. Big Spring Overlook lies about 0.6 miles away, and Hatch Spring is about 0.8 miles off. Silvia Hollow and Neponset Spring are both within roughly 2 miles. For an overnight stay, Monte Cristo Campground sits about 4.8 miles away.
