Wood Camp Campground is a Forest Service site in the Logan Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits at a low point, with vault toilets as the only facility, and is a base for short outings and climbing rather than a destination with much in the way of amenities. A fee is charged for stays. Summer is the warmest stretch, with typical July highs around 88°F and lows near 60°F at a nearby weather station. Winters are cold, with typical January highs near 32°F and lows around 18°F. That station sits about 540 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures here run a little cooler. Two hikes start right beside the campground: Tab Hollow and Old Juniper, both about 0.1 mile away. Crag in the Sky and the Mile 385 Area climbing areas are each about 0.4 mile off. Preston Valley Campground is about 1.7 miles away for another place to camp.
