Browne Lake is a Forest Service campground in the Flaming Gorge Ranger District of Ashley National Forest in Utah. It sits within the national forest's recreation network, and the Forest Service manages the land. The site is a simple base for overnight stays, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. A fee is charged for use. Two trails start right at the campground: Browne Lake Road and the Carter Military Trail, both about 0.1 mile away. The Browne Lake Group Sites are about 0.4 mile off, so the campground works well for groups as well as individuals. Climbers can find Shredder and Sheep Creek - Windy Ridge about 3.3 to 3.4 miles away. Summit Springs Guard Station, roughly 3.9 miles out, offers another camping option.
