Blue Spruce Campground is a small Forest Service campground in the Escalante Ranger District of Dixie National Forest, about 13 miles from Boulder Town, Utah. It sits beside Pine Creek in a blue spruce forest, and its shaded setting makes it a comfortable base for summer visits. The campground has five single campsites and one double site, each with picnic tables and fire rings or grills. There is a vault toilet, and there is no garbage disposal, so visitors must pack out what they bring in. A fee is charged for recreation here. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Boulder show July highs around 84°F with lows near 61°F, while September cools to highs in the mid-70s. Several trails start close by, including The Box Trail and Blue Springs Trail, both within a mile. The Great Western Trail - Pine Creek Section is about a mile away. Posey Lake Campground is roughly 3 miles off.
