Whiskey Wall is a climbing area in Texas's Amistad National Recreation Area, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within the recreation area's network of climbing spots along the Pecos River, with the Pecos River Boat Ramp just 0.1 mile away and Lawless Wall 0.3 mile off. The area offers a mix of sport and trad routes, with 10 routes in total. The grades run from 5.7 up to 5.12b, and the hardest of them, Shaman in a Bottle, is a sport route at 5.12b. The 5.7 Crack is the only trad route, and the rest are sport. The median grade is 5.10d. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Langtry show March highs around 77°F and October highs around 84°F, while summer highs climb into the 90s. Other climbing areas close by include the Pecos River DWS (Deep Water Solo) about 2 miles away and The Solarium, Warrior Wall and Weir Dam Area, each roughly 8 miles off.
