Suicide Zone is a bouldering area in Texas, about 1.5 miles from East Waco. It is a cluster of seven boulder problems, all rated V0 through V5- on the V scale, with most of the routes sitting at the lower end of that range. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Waco Dam weather station show April highs around 76°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. The bouldering here is all on the same page. The easiest routes, including Big Slopey and Martin Luther Cling, are V0, and the hardest is self righteous suicide at V5-. Suicide traverse is a V3. The name "Suicide Zone" is a label for the whole area rather than a single route. Midway campground is about 6.5 miles away, and Speegleville Park is about 7.4 miles away. Mountain bikers can head to Blue, Red and Green, all within about 7 miles.
