Nautilus Cave is a bouldering area in Texas, about 0.7 miles from the town of Crawford. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Shield, Rival Wall and Tonkawa Falls all within about a tenth of a mile. The area is a bouldering destination, with seven routes listed, all of them boulders. The grades run from V2+ up to V8, with The Nautilus Project at the top end. Filopian Tube is the easiest, and Not If You're Pregnant is a V4. The hardest, The Nautilus Project, was first climbed by a team called Undone. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in McGregor show April highs around 77°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s.
