The Sausage Factory is a climbing area within Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site in Texas, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Maze, The and Gunks, The both about 0.1 mile away and East Spur at a similar distance. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in El Paso show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 76°F, while June and July average highs near 93°F with more wet days. Stableboy Rock and Vicinity is about 0.2 mile away, and the East Spur Trail and Tabloid Pass Trail are each about 0.3 mile off. Starry-Eyed Man Trail is roughly half a mile away.
