Hostility Boulders, also known as Ham Creek Park, is a climbing area in Texas, about 2.8 miles from the town of Retreat. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Hog Wall and Indian Head each about 1.5 miles away and Carrion Wall about 1.6 miles off. The area has 10 routes, mostly sport climbing with a few boulders and one trad route. Grades run from 5.7 up to 5.12+, with the hardest route, Low Tide, at 5.12+. The boulder route is rated V2. Among the sport routes, Everyone's Hero is 5.7, and Because you Climb Too Much is 5.11b/c. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Cleburne show April highs around 76°F and October highs around 78°F, while July and August average about 95°F. Kimball Bend Park, a campground about 3.4 miles away, is the closest place to camp. Plowman Creek, about 7 miles off, offers another option.
