Tityos Block Area is a climbing area in Tennessee, about 2 miles from the town of Grassy Cove. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Upper Area & Graceland and Perfect Access Rock both within a quarter mile, so it works well as part of a day spent exploring the cluster. The area has 13 routes, with styles ranging from bouldering to sport and trad climbing. Grades run from about 5.6 to 5.12a/b on the YDS scale and from V1+ to V6 on the V scale. Among the named routes are Romper Route, a 5.6 sport climb, and Tityos, a 5.12a/b sport route. Thrilla Gorilla is a trad climb at 5.7+. For timing, fall is the most comfortable season.
