Ropes Course is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Tennessee, set within Greenway Farms on city land. The route is about a mile long, with a total elevation gain of 347 feet, and it starts and ends at roughly 809 feet, reaching a high point of 888 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 12% grade near the start. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chattanooga show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the course run a little cooler. The hike takes about half an hour. The Unnamed connector trail to Ropes Course starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Lower Loop and Boy Scout Trail are each about half a mile off. Climbers can find Rustoleum Boulder roughly 8 miles away.
