The NST - Highland Rim Section is a scenic 25.26-mile point-to-point trek across Tennessee's distinctive Highland Rim plateau. This section of the National Scenic Trail traverses rolling terrain with mixed forest, open meadows, and panoramic vistas characteristic of the Cumberland Plateau region. Hikers experience the unique geological and ecological transition zones that make the Highland Rim a premier destination for long-distance hiking in Middle Tennessee.
