Puddingstone Heights is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about 0.3 miles from the town of Highland Beach. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Flume Arete and The Corkscrew Boulder each about 0.1 mile away. The area is a bouldering destination, with six routes all rated V0 or V1-2 on the V scale. The easiest are Pin Feathers and Wildcat left, both V0, and the hardest is the Leaving the nest variation (high feet) at V1-2. The routes are all boulders, and the area is best suited to climbers who enjoy the V0 to V1-2 range. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Providence show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F.
