The Corkscrew Boulder is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about half a mile from the town of Highland Beach. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Flume Arete and Puddingstone Heights each about 0.1 mile away, and Shore Dinner Area about 0.8 mile off. The climbing here is all bouldering, with seven routes ranging from V0- to V2, so it works well for a short session on a single rock. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Providence run from highs around 69°F in May to about 75°F in September, with July the warmest at about 84°F. The Corkscrew Boulder's routes include Big Screw and Rickety Ridge at V0-, Corkscrewing Around at V0+, and Cork Screw Roof at V2. Cork Screw Roof Right is also listed at V1.
