Sunshine Wall is a climbing area in Pennsylvania, sitting right next to the town of McConnells Mill. It is one of several climbing spots clustered within a short distance of town, including Island Block, Rappel Rock and Rim Road Climbing Area, all about 0.1 mile away. The Slippery Rock Gorge Trail (NCT) also starts close by. The area has six routes, five of which are top rope and one is trad. The grades range from 5.7 to 5.12a/b, with the hardest route being Welcome to The Mill. Mr. Clean, a top rope route, was first climbed by Bob Value in 1974, and Welcome to The Mill was first climbed by him in 1995. Summer is the warmest stretch for climbing. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 81°F with lows near 58°F, while September cools to highs in the mid-70s. For a longer outing, the North Country Trail passes about 2.5 miles away, and Glacier Ridge Trail (NCT) and Five Points Trail are within about 3 miles.
