Quarry Loop is a 0.1-mile mountain biking trail in Fairmount Park, Pennsylvania, about a tenth of a mile from the Trolley Trail. It's a short loop, but it's rated moderate and built for intermediate riders. The trail is a blue square route, and its quarry setting hints at rock features and varied terrain within this compact ride. The loop works well for session riding or as a skills-building circuit. It's a quick way to test your bike handling on natural singletrack surfaces. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 68°F, while July averages about 89°F. Several other trails sit about 0.1 mile away, including Ca$h Money, Rose and Three Dollar Bill. Climbers can find the Martin Luther King Drive Twin Bridges climbing area about half a mile off.
