Pipeline Trail is a mountain biking route in Clear Creek State Forest in Pennsylvania, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail is an out-and-back with a total length of about 1.4 miles, and it rises from a low point of 950 feet to a high of 1,419 feet, with a total elevation gain of 989 feet for the round trip. The climb is rated hard, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.49 miles in, with a grade of 18 percent. The most comfortable months for riding are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Franklin, PA, show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F.
