The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 1.6 miles, with a total elevation gain of 325 feet. The climb is steepest near the 0.6-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 5 percent, and the trail's high point sits at 1,508 feet. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Franklin, PA, show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. That station sits roughly 500 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run a little cooler. Several other mountain biking trails lie close by.
