The Nels Rogers Trail is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Oregon, set on state land managed by the State Land Board within the Forest Development Fund (Board of Forestry) unit. It is a compact ride, with a total length of about 1.6 miles and a round-trip elevation gain of 223 feet. The trail starts at roughly 1,534 feet and reaches a high point of about 1,564 feet before returning to the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Forest Grove show July and August highs around 81 to 82°F, with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures up high run cooler. Several other trails and paddling waters lie close by. Quarry Trail is about 0.3 miles away, and Gravelle Brothers Trail and Roger's Camp Trail are each about 0.7 miles off. Devils Lake Fork, a canoeing route, is about 0.9 miles away.
