Sink Creek is a 3.6-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 5,080 feet to about 5,430 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 0.44 miles in, where the grade reaches about 11 percent. The route is rated moderate, and the natural-surface trail is open year-round. Bikes and horses are both allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sunriver, which sits about 1,250 feet lower, show July highs around 84°F with lows near 41°F. Winter highs there average in the low 40s, and temperatures on the trail run cooler. Mirror Lakes and the Mirror Lakes Trail #20 both lie about 0.1 mile away. Devils Lake campground is about 1.6 miles off, and Hosmer Lake, a fishing spot, is about 3.4 miles away.
