Huckleberry Flats ATV #201 is an easy out-and-back hike in the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 3 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 228 feet, and it starts at roughly 2,600 feet. The route is a gentle climb to a high point of about 2,634 feet, with the steepest stretch at around 2.3 miles in, where the grade reaches about 12%. The trail is open to both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Oakridge Fish Hatchery show July and August highs around 80°F with only two or three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and frequent rain.
