Extendo Trail is a 1.45-mile hike in Oregon's Philomath Unit, a short outing that gains about 575 feet in elevation. It is an easy route, and the trail is a point-to-point path rather than a loop, with the high point at 1,108 feet and the low at 536 feet. The trail is open to both horses and bikes, so riders and equestrians can share the route. The climb is steepest at about 0.45 miles in, with a grade of 24 percent, and the total loss on the way down is 237 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs around 82 to 83°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. The trail sits close to several other routes. Homestead Trail is 0.4 miles away and Anti-Face is 0.5 miles away. Upper Dan's Trail, a mountain biking route, is 0.7 miles off, and South Ridget is 0.8 miles away.
