Cunningham Cove Trail is a 5.1-mile out-and-back hike in the Whitman Ranger District of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in northeastern Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail starts at about 5,870 feet and climbs to roughly 7,829 feet, with a total gain of about 2,277 feet. The route is rolling, and the steepest stretch comes early, around 0.47 miles in, where the grade reaches about 40%. Peavy Cabin sits just 0.1 mile from the trail, making it an easy base for an overnight stay.
