Wright Creek is a Forest Service campground in Oregon's North Umpqua Ranger District, part of the Umpqua National Forest. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site has vault toilets as its only amenities. There is no fee to stay. The most comfortable stretch for a visit runs from late spring through early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs around 70°F in May and 78°F in September, with only about five wet days in September. Summer is warmer, with highs in the mid-80s, and winter brings highs in the mid-40s and frequent wet days. The North Umpqua Trail: Mott section of the trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and Bogus Creek Campground is 0.7 miles off. Cougar Creek is 1.1 miles away, and the North Umpqua River, about 3 miles away, offers river fishing.
