Wildwood is a non-fee campground in the Lookout Mountain Ranger District of Ochoco National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The site has vault toilets as its only amenity, and it sits in a forested setting within the national forest's ranger district. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 51°F and only about four wet days, while winter highs stay in the low 40s. That station sits roughly 1,600 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures at Wildwood run cooler.
