Union Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the High Cascades Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in southern Oregon. It sits within the national forest's recreation network, and the Forest Service manages the land. The site is a simple base for overnight stays, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. A fee is charged for use. Summer is the driest and warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 89°F with only two or three wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the 40s and rain on more than half the days. That station sits about 800 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures here run cooler. Several trails start close by. The Union Creek Trail and Rogue Gorge are each about 0.3 miles away, and the Natural Bridge Loop Nordic Trail is about 0.1 miles off. Farewell Bend Campground is about 0.9 miles away.
