Threehorn Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Tiller Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. It is a simple base for exploring the surrounding forest, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity and a fee charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show June highs around 78°F with only about five wet days, while July and August average highs near 89°F. Winter is cool and wet, with highs in the low 50s and rain on roughly half the days. Climbers will find Terra Nova about 3.7 miles away and the (.7) Spotted Owl Wall at 3.8 miles. Paddlers can head to Elk Creek, about 4.3 miles off, and hikers to Devil's Flat, about 8 miles away.
