Sacandaga Campground is a 17-site family-friendly campground in the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits on a terrace above the Middle Fork of the Willamette River, within an old-growth forest. The Middle Fork National Recreation Trail passes near the camp, and two access trails lead from the campground down to the river. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June through September, when typical averages from the nearby Toketee Falls weather station run from highs around 76°F in June and September to about 86°F in July and August, with only a few wet days a month. Winter is much wetter and cooler, with highs in the low 40s and rain on 16 to 19 days a month from December through March. Vault toilets are the only facility listed. A fee is charged. For fishing seasons and licenses, visit the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife website. Nearby, the Middle Fork National Recreation Trail is about 0.4 miles away. Indigo Springs and Warner Mountain Lookout campgrounds are both within about 4 miles, and paddlers can reach the Middle Fork Willamette River about 4.7 miles off.
