Indigo Springs is a small, three-site tent-only campground in the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among old growth Douglas-fir, and the springs for which it is named lie nearby along a 500-foot round trip loop trail. The site also has interpretive signs on the Oregon Central Military Wagon Road and the role of Bull trout in the regional watershed. Vault toilets are the only amenity. A fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 79°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and regular snow days. The Middle Fork Willamette River and Swift Creek, both canoeing spots, are within about 3 miles. Bear Mountain and Sacandaga Campground are also close by.
