Rock Creek is a Forest Service campground in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon, about 0.2 miles from the Rock Creek Oregon Coast (Siuslaw National Forest, OR) listing. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site has vault toilets. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Yachats weather station show July and August highs around 64 to 65°F with only five or six wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 50s and rain on 17 to 20 days. Several trails and paddling spots lie within a few miles. The B-40 Trail is about 1.2 miles away, the Valley Trail about 1.8 miles, and the China Creek Loop Trail about 2.1 miles. Big Creek, a canoeing route, is about 3.4 miles off.
