Baker Beach Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the Siuslaw National Forest, managed by the Forest Service, and the nearest town is Florence, about 6 miles away. The most comfortable months for a visit are July and August, when typical highs reach the upper 60s and wet days drop to about five or six a month, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Florence. Winter is much wetter, with around 20 or more wet days a month from December through March. The campground makes an easy base for exploring the surrounding trails. Lilly Lake is just 0.1 mile away, and the Baker Beach Loop Trail and Baker Beach Trail are both within a third of a mile. For more time on the water, Sutton Creek offers canoeing about 1.8 miles off.
