Breitenbush Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Detroit Ranger District of Oregon's Willamette National Forest. It sits within the forest's recreation sites network, and the nearest town is Marion Forks, about 12 miles away. The site is a simple base for overnight stays. Vault toilets are the only listed amenity, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 82°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and frequent snow from December through February. Cleator Bend campground is just half a mile away, and the Ann Arbor Hot Springs trail starts under a mile off. Devil's Peak Trail and South Breitenbush Gorge are both about 2 miles away.
