Downstream is a climbing area in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, on city-managed land that also falls within Brecksville Reservation in Ohio. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the park's rock. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Cleveland show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, while winter brings frequent snow days from December through February. Midstream, Hanger and Chippewa Creek are all climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and the Hemlock Trail is a hike about 0.2 mile off.
