Lakeview Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Caesar Creek Recreation Area in Ohio, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The trail is about 1.3 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 259 feet, and it starts at roughly 890 feet, rising to a high point of 930 feet before returning to the starting level. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.56 miles in, with a grade of about 12 percent. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Xenia show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, with September also seeing the fewest wet days of the year.
