Green Trail is an easy, 2.9-mile loop in Sugarcreek Metropark, a city-managed park in Ohio. The trail rises from about 782 feet to 907 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 1.4 miles into the route at about 11% grade. It's a low-effort outing, with only about 100 feet of elevation gain, and the trail's loop shape makes it easy to turn around or continue exploring the surrounding network. Fall is a comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 67°F with lows near 45°F, and September runs warmer at about 79°F. The station sits at a similar elevation to the trail, so these figures should be close to what you'd expect on the route. The trail sits among a cluster of short hikes. The Paved Prairie Loop Trail and Yellow Trail are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Orange Trial and Blue Trail are about 0.2 miles off. Caesar Creek Lake, about 9.5 miles away, offers fishing if you want to extend the day.
