Green Trail is an easy hike in Ohio, about a mile from the town of Bellbrook. The route is short, under 0.8 miles, and the climb is gentle, with an elevation gain of about 11 feet from the low point of 756 feet to the high of 782 feet. The trail is not a long climb, but the steepest stretch comes early, about a fifth of the way in, with a grade of roughly 7 percent. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically September and May, when typical averages from a nearby weather station in Xenia run around 77°F and 73°F for highs. That station sits a few hundred feet higher than the trail, so temperatures on the trail may run slightly warmer. Yellow Trail, Blue Trail and Red Trail all start within about a tenth of a mile, and Storywalk Trail is roughly a mile away.
